It might be called a bright idea… Altering lamps with Alcohol Inks!
I started with an inexpensive lamp from IKEA (Lampan), worked with Alcohol Inks over it, and added some flair with pearls or jewels, Doodlebug Stick With It covered with foil and then some trimming. Finished, and a very inexpensive touch for my home! Of course they were made in colors matching my curtains…
I made one brown
and one green
Next project: flower pots to match! I think I need a trip to IKEA tomorrow…

I found some S.E.I. Stitches patterned paper in a drawer, and decided to use it some more as it goes so well with boyish and male pages.
The lovely netted lace in the background is created with the Gazelle, stamped and inked with Distress Inks.
I like to use flowers also on boyish pages, but often jazz them up with a more male flower center – here chinese coins.
A lot of flowers here, too! These are cut with the Gazelle, stamped with Staz-On and inked with Distress Inks. The sprockets and gears are made the same way.
These papers go well with military themes, too!
