Glimmered t-shirts

Trying out new stuff is a fun part of scrapbooking, and I just had to try using Glimmer Mists on a t-shirt!

Mist just as you do on paper, then cover all of it with decoupage laquer for fabrics, but be careful if you brush it on, the medium dissolves the Glimmer Mist! The best way is to spray it on.

Go on, alter your t-shirts!

Listen, do you want to know a secret…

…do you promise not to tell…

Closer…

Let me whisper in your ear…

Curious? Well, here’s the secret. I was asked to join the Bumblebee DT a long time ago, but it was not to start until September 1st, and that’s tomorrow, so now I can tell!

Vacation shopping

Aaah! We came back from Stockholm yesterday evening, and with our luggage full of goodies! We shopped some at Handarbeta on Thursday

Thank you, Sofia, for a lovely afternoon! Both me and the kids enjoyed the stop at your shop. We’ll be back again. Soon!

We spent Saturday at Gröna Lund and Aquaria, and yes, I took tons of pictures! I need to send them off to be developed ASAP.

When we came home I also had received a package from CropStop, so the pile of goodies grew! This is what I have to organize today

I need to make place for my new Staz-On and Distress Ink pads, re-organize some flowers and ribbons, try the Tim Holtz distress tool, check the color on my new embossing powder, and of course develop the photos from the trip!

Have a nice day, everyone! I know I will…

Strange photo?

Nope, not at all!

gluedots

When I make my own glue dots, I simply put Klaeber-fix in dots on a non-stick baking sheet (a non-stick craft sheet can also be used) on one side of the sheet. If I want thin dots, I simply fold the other half over and press lightly, if I want thicker dots (which I prefer), I just leave them to air dry, and fold the other half of the sheet over for protection once they’ve dried. As I’m a heavy user of dots, this has saved me at least $10 in a month!

This is one of my favorite songs, it’s so true, so sit back and listen to the lyrics!
