but I’ve made cards today, too! How about that? For someone that seldom makes cards I can tell seven in a row is kind of a record!

A new challenge at 365 Cards today, accordion fold and this is what I made:

I didn’t follow Vicki’s instructions to the point, but I used the measures she gave.

This weekend there’s a cybercrop going on at Mima’s, one of my favorite Swedish shops. Check out their forum here! I found several challenges that I will give a try at, check back tomorrow to see the results.

I had some of the challenges this week at 365 Cards undone, so I made them all today. Here they are:

Money holder

Gift card holder

Tri-fold card

Pop-up card

Score a pattern card

Since I’m not a cardmaker, this week has been so fun and I really look forward to the challenge tomorrow! Usually I just make the cards I need for some occasions, but now I have some ready made, just put in sentiments or other text in!

Not that many – I had to play with my new dies, too! I bought two this morning, the Daisy and the new Rose from BossKut. Check them out below!

The first card I made is a whitework challenge from Gloria at CropStop. Whitework? Isn’t that embroidery? You can whitework while making cards, too.

Stamping in white on white can be a challenge, so I did take a turn there, and stamped with VersaMark and brushed lightly with PearlEx Iridiscent Violet.

Card number two for the day is a Matchbook card, a challenge at 365 Cards for the day.

And the inside:

I used both my new dies on this card, the Daisy on the front and the Rose on the inside. This card is also involved in my weekly BossKut-challenge at CropStop, so move on over and check it out!

Oh yes, there’s a challenge over at 365 Cards today! It’s sponsored by CropStop, so go ahead and check both places out!

The challenge is to include three different textures on your project, and here’s my take on it:

The smooth cardstock is dry embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder, and I also added some Stickles to it, then heat embossed using stamps from Technique Tuesday and Gold EP from Ranger. The next paper is handmade from Svartvik Paper, and has inclusions of marigold. The top paper is also handmade from Svartvik, a wet embossed image of a hand and a leaf heart. The edges are enhanced with some Distress Inks.  I also added a skeleton leaf in dark brown (I love these!).
