Well, we did during the Midsummer weekend in June.

Kelly caught the first fish.

Webster’s Pages paper, Tattered Angels stamps, flowers and title cut with a Gazelle, skeleton leaf and a ribbon.

No fish in this lake… Only small flies and mosquitos there!

Core’dinations cardstock, antiqued book pages, Tattered Angels stamps, Martha Stewart border punch and some buttons.

Close-up on the book pages.

There’s some fishing line here too!

Core’dinations cardstock, antiqued book page, Tattered Angels stamp, title cut with the Gazelle.

… we’re all doing it. My brother builds a cabin – I build pages!

Kitchen crew on the loose… Kevin helps his uncle to get the new kitchen in place. Checking it all out on the lawn. Prima paper, Maya Road chipboard, Crackle Paint.

What happens around the corner? DH checks what my brother does. I found an old Basic Grey paper for this one,  added a Maya Road chipboard covered with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze, filled in the gaps with Stickles. Tim Holtz stamp and the title is cut with a Gazelle.

Calculating the space… Think I found the right paper! It’s a Tim Holtz one – from the Lost and Found paper pad. The pocketwatch stamp is a Tattered Angels one. Love this set…

Preparing for heat…

Bazzill Swiss Dots, book page, title and flowers cut with a Gazelle. A lot of Distress Inks and a couple of different stamps on the alphas.

Every Wednesday me or my DT-friend Bea posts a new Gazelle-related project at the Bumblebee blog. This week I’ve been playing around with fonts. I created this initial card for my son

The font is Goudy Initialen, and to my surprise it was not vectorized! So there was some fiddling before I got it to work as a cutable picture. I cut it about 18×18 cm in black cardstock and mounted it on a shiny silver colored very thick cardstock, almost like chipboard.

With all the fun decorations that can be bought nowadays, why not make your own cupcakes for the Christmas tree?

The Cupcake Wrapper and Poinsettia are BossKut dies, available from Bumblebee, or download directly from BossKut for your Gazelle. The cupcake is made of a Christmas bauble, covered with relief paste, the cherry is made of polymer clay and the chocolate icing is 3D-liner.

And one more, this for the table

For more inspiration on what to use the Gazelle for, check out the Bumblebee blog and forum!

… which means it’s perfectly OK to start with Christmas cards and decorations!

I started off with these two, a 3D snowflake and a Christmas Wreath

Both are made with the Gazelle, and finished in a flash!

There’s a lot to make with this lovely machine, if you want to read more about it go to Bumblebee for the Swedish version, and BossKut for the English one.

There’s a challenge at the Bumblebee blog, go check it out! Amazing things to win!
