OK, so I’m back to blogging in English again. Swedish just doesn’t work for some of my followers…

So, what shall I start with today…? Male cards? OK, here we go!

Finding suitable embellishments for more male cards is a bit hard. The easiest way is to use die-cuts, as I can get them in any color I want.  This card is quite simple, using a card base and black cardstock from Panduro, a computer generated sentiment and a couple of stamps.

The background stamp is an Impression Obsession, got it at Craft Barn in UK, the branches are a Prima stamp, available at Panduro.

The white card I stamped on is just marvellous… And I can’t remember where I got it! Semi-glossy on both sides, and when using Distress Inks over it in layers, it looks kind of waxed. Want more, but where to get it?

Flowers and flourish cut with a Gazelle from black cardstock, the flowers are spritzed with Cosmic Shimmer in Gold. The bling in the centers are found in a box of mixed bling from Panduro.

The text is computer generated and printed on some yellow-brown cardstock, stamped with a burlap background stamp from Stamp Attack and embossed with clear Ranger embossing powder.

I have stamped on the same kind of card here, and this time I made an out-wash on some of the leaves using a water brush – just like I often made on china back in those days I still painted. Worked great – another reason why I want more of this card!

The center stamp is a PaperArtsy one, while the leaves are of unknown origin. I’ve had it since I worked with silver clay and used this to make impressions in it.

The flourish is cut with the Gazelle and I added some bling to it – just enough not getting too female.

I have used the same background stamp as on the top card in this post, this time on pale grey cardstock. The paper embellishments are all cut with the Gazelle, added some bling and Distress Inks to it. I really like that black and white blingy box from Panduro – it contains pearls, sequins and bling in various models.
