So I wanted for a long time to try screen-printing on t-shirts, and last week I finally did!

I got a screen-print stencil from Panduro, and also some paint. Started out making the same print for all of us, only in different colors and combinations. But after making twelve, I wanted to try something different…

So, a deep dig in the cupboard and found some Tattered Angels Glimmer Screens

and Tim Holtz Masks

and I was on the go again!

All you need besides your masks and glimmer screens are a t-shirt and some fabric color – I used the screen-print color from Panduro. To apply the paint, use either a stencil brush or a foam brush.

It’s a friends birthday tomorrow, so I made him a clipboard

Plain clipboard with gesso for a base layer, then added Glimmer Mists, some more gesso using Glimmer Screens, another layer of Glimmer Mists, some stamps (mostly Tim Holtz) and a chipboard clock from Maya Road.

Stamps, Glimmer Mists and Glimmer Screens from Bumblebee and CropStop, clipboard from Creative Company. Gesso can be found at any craft shop.

A close up on the clock

which is a clip art picture downloaded from the internet, printed on plain copy paper and colored with Distress Inks. I put Ranger Crackle Accents on the whole clock.

The beautiful lady can be found in Crafty Individuals’ pad People and Places 2.

Trying out new stuff is a fun part of scrapbooking, and I just had to try using Glimmer Mists on a t-shirt!

Mist just as you do on paper, then cover all of it with decoupage laquer for fabrics, but be careful if you brush it on, the medium dissolves the Glimmer Mist! The best way is to spray it on.

Go on, alter your t-shirts!
