I made this card to send to a dear friend, Vicki. We live far apart but are always near in our hearts.

CS: Worldwin, Core’dinations and Panduro marbled cardstock, stamp: hÄnglar & stÄnglar colored with watercolor pens, eyelets: MM. The Core’dinations cardstock is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then lightly sanded to let the core show through.

I didn’t put a title on this – I used the Urban Lily paper instead! Besides that, I used DCWV CS, a velvet ribbon from stash, MM Brads, a Daisy Bucket stamp and a homemade polymer clay sign with a stamp from Paper Maze. Added fluid chalks, 3D-laquer and photo corners from 3L.

Dressed Up?

We don’t care much for the clothes on Midsummer’s Eve! Being out in the middle of nowhere requires more functional clothes than good looking ones. A pair of jeans, a shirt and a fleece jacket is all that is required.

The title is created using various vinyl alphas and then sprayed mist on it, took off the alphas and covered the whole title with UTEE. After it had cooled, I cracked the surface.

The leaves have been dipped in melted UTEE.

The photo corner is wet embossed and comes from Svartvik Paper.
