I found this lovely sketch and challenge at the Handarbeta blog – go check it out, you have until August 8th to participate!

Here’s my take on it:

The background paper is a Bazzill Smoothie, Walnut Cream, which I have stamped with a script stamp and Saddle Brown Staz-On, then with a flower stamp and embossed with clear EP, added some Distress Inks and misted the whole thing. Some of the brads are embossed (check out below) and some of the flowers have been stamped, inked and misted. The photo mat is handmade paper of my own production, but it can also be bought from Svartvik – with its lovely structure and raw edges it goes so well with Distress Inks.

Stamped with opaque white Staz-On and embossed with holographic EP on acetate.

I put Alcohol Ink on acetate and cut with an Ellison die – Daisies.

There are two coats of Stickles on the center flower, and all the chipboard flowers are painted with Crackle Paint.

Don’t forget to check out the challenge at Handarbeta, and also check in what’s happening at CropStop this week!

Just like a fairy-tale

Kelly on a dragon-hunt through Sundsvall. All embellishments except the photo corners are cut with the Gazelle and then stamped and inked. A few drops of Stickles here and there completed the layout.

Sometimes it’s a bit hard to come up with a title – so I simply used the date!

Supplies: MME Trés Jolie PP, Fancy Pants tags, ribbon from Panduro, I found the stamp at Paper Maze, the silver plated butterfly comes from Firemountain Gems, flowers from Prima, buttons from CC Hobby, brads are all SEI, rub-ons from DCWV, AC Thickers alphas and add some Fluid Chalk, pigment ink and stickles to that.

I started to realize I’m getting old… I’m forgetting birthdays – even in the family! So I wanted to make myself a birthday calendar.

I’ve used Bo Bunny Bare Naked Binder Refills as front and back, and filled with Bazzill cardstock, K&Co Ancestry papers, flowers from Prima and my stash of old silk flowers and also some beautiful white organza flowers that I got as a RAK (thanks, Vicki!), the brads are mostly MM – except for the beautiful epoxy brad on the front page (thank you again, Vicki!), epoxy stickers from Panduro, alphas are die-cut Olivia from Cuttlebug and I also used some motifs from the Harlequin die, both in cardstock and in doublesided tape covered with flock (ATB), glitter (Doodlebug) or gold/silver foil, stamps from Paper Maze and Pysselmyran, pearls from Kaiser, jewelry parts, ribbons and some other stuff from stash. And of course Stickles and Fluid Chalks – I can’t live without them!

The pergament on the last page is handmade of polymer clay.

The supplies that where not already in my stash have been found at KT Crafts and Nettans Scrapbooking4You, PaperMaze and Pysselmyran.
