I have trouble keeping track of all those birthdays and anniversaries, so I made myself a birthday book a few years back. Now it’s time for Christmas gifts, and these are the two I made for the kids’ teachers this year.

Click on the pictures for a larger view.

Covers: cereal boxes cut to 6×6″, covered with patterned paper (Websters Pages), a Heidi Swapp stamp (remember) and a free stamp from Craft Stamper.

Pages: I cut 12 pcs of 12×12″ single sided paper in 4, measuring 6×6″, and stamped on the back, plain, side using various stamps (Technique Tuesday, Stampendous and Tattered Angels) using the masking technique. Edges are distressed.

Embellishments: a few Prima flowers and some lace from Panduro, Viva Décor Pearl Pens for flower centers.

All put together with a BIA.

I have used Bazzill cardstock, patterned paper and tags from Fancy Pants – Simplicity line, the flowers, journal block and patterned tape are all Prima, and to this I have added Doodlebug Paper Frills which I inked with Fluid Chalks, some brads from MM. I have also used Designer Dries Clear Glue and Vintage Glass Glitter from Art Glitter Institute for the title and also on the stamped swirl from Technique Tuesday – Whirly Gigs. Through the whole LO I have used Kokuyo Tape’n’Runner to attach the papers. As a last touch up I die-cutted and embossed butterflies from Cuttlebug and embossed them with Holographic embossing powder.
